Is Oregon the only state ahead on this one? I got my mail-in ballot 3 weeks ago, took my time and figured out the measures, voted, and then dropped it off at the library... last week. Seems way too easy.Ryan
Hey Ryan,But as a good Democrat, you surely voted AGAIN at the polls, right?
Yea, Oregon rocks. I am able to intelligently sit down at home with all the necessary research info I need, take my time, and then complete my ballot. Even if there was no line, the Oregon system is better in that it allows time for thinking about your vote. There is raised concern over intimidation or bribery, but I think it's worth the tradeoff. Turnout is just great with mail in. http://www.oregonlive.com/newsflash/index.ssf?/base/elections-0/1225847069225330.xml&storylist=orlocalLance
