MORE "JOHN McCAIN 2008" VS. "JOHN McCAIN 2000"

First off, here's McCain's newest ad featuring a range of people saying "I'm Joe the Plumber", and railing against Obama's "spread the wealth around" comment:

First off, I'd love for the McCain campaign to list the incomes of the people featured in this advertisement. After all, we're taking only about the people who make $250,000 a year and more.

Again, the whole point of the "spread the wealth" comment is to tax the richest American's 4% more than they currently are, by returning to the rate it was under Bill Clinton. Oh, if only we had a voice of reason from the year 2000 to put this all into perspective? I know, why don't we ask John McCain from the year 2000?

Mind you that when this comment was made by McCain, the rich were actually paying the rate that Barack Obama is currently proposing. McCain rebuts the "socialism" argument from the young woman by saying that:
"Here's what I really believe, that when you are - reach a certain level of comfort, there's nothing wrong with paying somewhat more."
It's just one more example of how far McCain has sunk in my eyes. After The Daily Show ran this clip, John Stewart summed up the segment by stating:
"That, of course, was the late socialist leader John McCain. I believe he passed away during the Reepublican Primaries. He will be missed."
Amen.
