THE McCAIN CAMPAIGN: A WELL-OILED MACHINE

Is Joe the Plumber jumping ship?

I wonder if McCain will continue his "air quotes" when he concedes his "loss" on Election Day?

UPDATE: Apparently "Joe the Plumber" was contacted by the campaign, and was supposed to appear at the event. Then, after telling John McCain that his favorite supporter would be there - the campaign staff simply NEVER FOLLOWED UP with Joe?!

Again, this is an indication of the type of Presidency John McCain would preside over. Think of all the major disasters he could "never follow up on" too? Wow!

Turns out Joe was being waterboarded by the Dem politicos in Ohio! That'll teach him to ask a question of the "One" :P AL

This is what I don't get. Joe asked a question and got a SIX MINUTE ANSWER from Obama that was specific to his business situation. Obama was forthright, honest, and diplomatic in his response.

On the flip side, Fox News chose to take 10 seconds out of context and attack Obama for his "spread the wealth" comment. THIS (and no other reason) is why the news media dug into Joe's background.

As it turns out, Joe said he was an independent (not true), was in the process of buying the business (not true), and said that Obama's tax plan would tax him more (not true).

Joe now travels the country with the candidate he always supported, and even signed with a "celebrity management team" to help him with his new "career".

Seeing that Joe was never licensed as a plumber in the first place - can we now call him "Joe the Opportunist"?
