CINDY McCAIN KEEPS INJECTING HERSELF INTO POLITICS, HOW LONG BEFORE THE MEDIA MENTIONS HER OTHER "INJECTIONS"?

The wife of John McCain, and former drug addict, Cindy McCain seemingly can't help herself from taking part in the mudslinging of her husband's campaign. Yesterday, she laughably asserted that it is Obama who's been running "the dirtiest campaign in history," while it's plain (for most) to see that the Democrat isn't even running the dirtiest campaign in a two-party race.

Now Cindy is trying to attack Obama for his war funding votes. Stating:
"The day that Sen. Obama cast a vote to not to fund my son when he was serving sent a cold chill through my body let me tell you."
Of course this whole issue is concerning the issue of "timetables" and whether they would be included in legislation connected to funding the wars. Obama voted against a troop funding bill that didn't include a specific timetable for withdrawal from Iraq, something the American people largely supported at the time, and still do.

But what Cindy doesn't mention is that her OWN HUSBAND voted against funding the Iraq and Afghanistan troops in 2007 as well. H.R. 1591 provided 1 billion in support for BOTH wars and added funds to Veterans Affairs, and McCain voted against it. Why would he do such a thing? Because the bill included a timetable, that's why.

Did that "send a cold chill" through Cindy McCain's body too? Or are those "cold chills" just the rush of Percocet hitting the bloodstream?

In the interest of fairness...Barack Obama admits to using ILLEGAL, non-prescription drugs? For a significant period of his youth??

Cindy admitted her use and made full restitution for the abuse of prescription drugs.

AND, Obama is running for president, she's isn't. Let's play nice. Love, AL

BTW I thought last night's "debate" was a poor showing by BOTH candidates. Just more GD talking points!

In the interest of fairness...Barack's substance abuse happened as AL points out in his youth.
Cindy McCain was 35 when she abused.
There is a reason juvenile laws are different than adult laws, because in the interest of fairness, the human brain is not fully developed. I believe this is why our constitution says you need to be 35 years or older to be president.

Im not a lawyer nor do I play one on t.v. ... I just love talking points.

Just want to thank you again for this blog. You'd be horrified at just how many un-informed folks call in to certain radio shows I enjoy.

Shouldn't we be even MORE alarmed that Obama abused a substantial amount of drugs when his brain was, in your words, "not fully developed"?? I think we should all be rightly concerned that the area of the brain that controls judgement and memory are perhaps, permanently damaged!

We already know his memory is impaired, as is evidenced by his faulty recall of attending church for twenty years with a crazy man at the pulpit, and then, this pesky "terrorist" thing AND we haven't even touched on the real estate dealings of the "sweetheart" deal in Chicago?? OR his lack of judgement accepting obscene amounts of money from FM?

Don't bring a knife to a gun fight. I love you guys so much!! AL

A few points:

1. I rarely (if ever) mentioned Cindy McCain until she started throwing mud in a desperate attempt to affect an election.

2. As Royd said, there's a distinction between a high school kid experimenting with drugs and alcohol, and a 35 year-old mother of four stealing prescription drugs from her children's charity.

By the way, once you're taking 20 pills a day... I think we can toss out the "prescription" or "non-prescription" argument, right?

Gosh I wish I would've refreshed before posting my last comment.

So let's get this straight, you claim Obama has taken "substantial" drugs and "damaged" his brain in high school, yet graduated with honors from Columbia University and Harvard Law School?

So what does that say about Johnny "894 out of 899" McCain? Does he have some drug abuse to come clean about?

As for your Reverend Wright, William Ayers, and Tony Rezko rants... I would implore to watch anything but Fox News for just five minutes a day. It's really hard to debate the brainwashed.

I just love how Obama is judged for things that others have done, while McCain HIMSELF cheats of his wife and attempts obstructs justice for a guy who's actually served time in prison.

In this instance, I'd say the association argument is the "knife" while the actual devious acts by McCain are the "gun".

I didn't know if was going to a fight in the first place.

I thought I was bringing a rational thought to a rational discussion.
My bad.

In my opinion I think spouses should stay out of the others business. I don't care what their opinions are, if they want to be heard, run for office!

So when Cindy starts talking I love any chance I can to tear at her.
If she wanted to be heard why didn't she get on the ticket?

I will tear into any spouse who pipes up on any issue. I don't care what they think. That goes for
Michelle Obama,
Todd Palin,
Mrs. Biden,
and good ol' Cindy McCain

Oh, and I love you too AL!
