McCAIN CONTINUES TO LIE ABOUT OBAMA'S TAX PLAN
From FactCheck.org, here's a post called A New Stitch in a Bad Pattern which explains the McCain Campaign's "pattern of deceit" when it comes to describing Obama's tax plan.
The bottom line? Obama is better on taxes for 95% of America, and McCain wants to continue the disastrous Bush Tax Cuts indefinitely.
So what happens when you can't win a campaign based on the issues? That's simple. You make it a popularity contest! No kidding. This is what McCain's Campaign Manager, Rick Davis said yesterday:

"This election is not about issues," said Davis. "This election is about a composite view of what people take away from these candidates."Over and over, the Amercian people have told these candidates that issues like the economy, energy policies, the War on Terror, and health care are most important to them, and yet this is the McCain Campaign's response? Is it any wonder why McCain made a "personality pick" for his running mate? Heck, even Karl Rove seems to be in the camp that says McCain made a "brilliant political decision", rather than one that would be best for the country.
Obama's campaign manager said this in response:
"We appreciate Senator McCain's campaign manager finally admitting that his campaign is not in fact about the issues the American people care about, which is exactly the kind of cynical old politics people are ready to change."Can we tear down McCain's "Country First" banners yet?
