ROVE DOES HIS BEST TO SPIN PALIN - AND LIES DOING SO
As noted yesterday, Karl Rove marginalized the Obama's possible V.P. pick Tim Kaine based on his "3 years as Governor" and "being Mayor of the 105th largest city in the nation".
However, here he is spinning McCain's pick with whatever he can muster:
By the way, Kaine was mayor of Richmond, Virginia (population 200,000).
While Wasilla, Alaska (where Palin was Mayor) wasn't even in the Top 10 of ALASKA's cities by population during her tenure (population 5,469).
Believe me, McCain wanted a WOMAN period. So this selection says WAY MORE about the RNC's poor record of electing women across the board than anything else!
