THE GREATEST BLOG ENTRY EVER?

I rarely forward people to other blogs, but this post was simply too much to ignore. My friend, Mike, is a successful writer who often makes me chuckle with his various observations on life... but in this instance touched on something much deeper. I often get confused when I think about my own views on God/faith, and draw a hard line between the greatness of the Universe (aka "spirituality") and the man-made rules attributed to that higher power (aka "religion").

In his piece called "Why Don't Conservatives Believe God is Great?", Mike does a phenomenal job of explaining this complex issue, and also takes a healthy jab at the GOP. Could anything be better?
