Even though the video is an obvious homage to "The Road Warrior", Tom Petty's "You Got Lucky Babe" was an instant classic back in 1982.

What do you mean "even though?" This video is great BECAUSE it is an obvious homage to "The Road Warrior." Which, by the way, is one of three films I like to call the "Richard Arch Trilogy." You know, the only three movies we were ever able to finagle Dad into taking our under-age asses to. The others: "Conan the Barbarian" and "Porky's."
What's with the "even though"? "The Road Warrior" homage is awesome!

In reading it back, I can see the perceived slam on Tom Petty. However, I posted it at 3AM and meant no ill will toward Petty... or any Heartbreaker.
