"Lonesome" George had the misfortune of following two "A-listers" (Bob Hope & Dean Martin) on that night's show. Not only does he hold his own... he makes Carson laugh as hard as I've ever seen.

Just remember him from Hollywood Squares.
This is the best, I thought he was great. I'll take George to the Van Stone video. It was gosh darn bad,only in a few places.
Is it just me or is Dean being an a@#hole ashing in drink. He must not like to be shown up.
I think Deano showed a history of being a "mean drunk" as you look back.
I may be wrong, but I think I read were your assessment of his "not liking being shown up" was
the major reason for his breaking up the Martin/Lewis franchise.
