Not just another bad "early rock video". This pretentious douche takes 1:27 to play the first note of his song. And ONLY after he uses a laser shot out of the end of his guitar to shoot open the door to the crappy warehouse where he plays. This, of course, follows the Patton Oswalt observation about 80's "hair band" videos. SQUIBBILY DOO!

If you ask me, Hollywood does far to few of the "where they are now" shows.
One could claim racism, because we all know about MC Hammer's bankrupcy, but we never hear anything about these guys. (Tawny Kitaen, doesn't count)
You can't tell me none of these "pretentious douches" had problems.
Added the interview for just that reason. Sadly for you, Aldo Nova seems to be doing just fine.

Let get something straight, I don't wish ill will on them.
There is however something very entertaining in studying how someone who beats the odds and "has it made", loses it all.
To start with, Aldo is a great guy who is extremely talented. He wrote produced and played most of the instruments for his first album. As far as how Aldo "had it made and loses it all" (king a england) that's what happens to 99% of Canadian musicians. If they choose to remain Canadian, they can't make it anywhere else. If they record an album from another country, they are told they can no longer call themselves Canadian (ie. Bryan Adams). Perfect example - Lee Aaron - the "Queen of Heavy Metal" as she was dubbed in the 80's - haven't heard anything from her in 15 years. Sass Jordan's name is only still out there because of Canadian Idol; Allanah Myles - is she still alive? Who do we still have? Celine Dion (wow - what pride), Shania Twain (show us another body part) and The Barenaked Ladies (o.k. - I take pride in them and the fact that I hung out with them in Kingston before they were famous).
