Pixar, Brad Bird, and Patton Oswalt... could anything be better?

CLICK PICTURE TO WATCH THE TRAILER

The brilliant stand-up/actor Patton Oswalt stars as a "food connoisseur" rat who refuses to eat garbage. Is it just me, or is Pixar about fifty-million miles ahead of everyone else when it comes to computer animation?

Russell,
A little business trivia for all your readers:

Who is the single largest holder of Disney stock?

Any guesses?

I will post the answer at the end of the trading day (4 pm eastern 1 pm PST).

If anyone is "Google-savvy" (and who isn't these days)... this is a dead giveaway.

Sorry of the earlier reply came off as "snarky"... it wasn't my intention.

Very good grasshopper.

I was hoping to drag a few "lookers" into the fold...

Not even Max or Lisa with a guess.

With 7% of Disney he hold approx. 4 times as much as Roy Disney himself.

King and Russ... this is awkward, but it has kinda been in the papers, you know. For months.

But on to more important matters. Pixar is SO beyond all others. And the reason why is summed up in the INSANE column in last week's L.A. Times about Cars.

And I'm not kidding:

the entire column was about how the reviewer couldn't enjoy the movie because he was bothered by the fact that cars have no thumbs, so they can't use toold, so how could they build the buildings in the movie? So he panned the movie.

This is the state of movies, media or both.

Pixar doesn't worry about that. They just do what they do.
