Ricky Gervais (circa 1984)???
Apparently Ricky was in a band in 1984. Here he is faced with his former self on a MTV-esque show. He's got a bit of the "Flock of Seagulls" hair. But can anyone place who he sounds like? Cy Curnin of "The Fixx" perhaps?

Let's see. I'm thinking the group Japan (singer David Sylvian-- and no, I had to look that name up). They're about as swirly (old friend Ringo's term for the New Wave Music I blasted out of my dorm room) as you can get. Also, love the thin, black leather tie. Had one. Ryan
