If you have a moment to spare...

...please read this short essay from Christopher Monks. I won't tell you much... but it involves Star Jones, some personal letters, and a job interview gone wrong.

P.S. If you don't laugh out loud reading this... I don't want to know you. Consider it a "test" for our future friendship.

Laugh out loud? I'm not sure about that. I thought it was very funny sure, but damn creepy also. It was, though, definately entertaining. Enough so that I checked out his webpage and was equally amused/creeped out. Why? You remember that book you had in college? Eric Bogosion's "Notes from the Underground." You know, where Bogosian writes in first-person journal entries about quitting his job to masturbate all day, obsessing about Dan Rather and then swiping those kids? Well, I have it and this guy is that character. Check out his photos. He is just days away from losing it. Ala Eric "God knows what I've been doing. Eating cheddar cheese crackers. Masturbating. Smoking. The good life" Bogosian. You have been forewarned. Ryan

So... you're saying it's probably a bad thing that I contacted him (via email) and told him I thought his story was hilarious?

I totally disagree with Ryan! I think this guy is hilarious. Look at his pictures, for goodness sake. Plus, you can tell by looking in his pantry that his family eats super-healthy food. That's apropos of nothing, but I'm proud of them.

I dig this guy. And his links page makes me laugh, too. So there!

Russ- please go buy that book I was talking about: "Notes From the Underground" by Eric Bogosian and have Lisa read it. Then I want to hear what she thinks. Also, I didn't mean it wasn't funny. It was. It's just "ha-ha-laughing-while-you-slowly-retreat-never-taking-your-eyes-off-the-guy-is-the-car-running?" funny. That's different. Ryan
